The Tango cocktail was created in a bar in Astoria to honor the tango as a musical genre, known in France from 19th century by the French navy frigate getting to Argentina and then bring this lovely music to its homeland.

The tango as a musical genre born in Argentina and more specifically in Rio de la Plata between 1860 and 1875, as a form of musical expression and dance to the lower immigrant classes from Europe, settled in Buenos Aires and Montevideo. Their musical instruments are mainly accordion, piano and double bass.

The Tango is a cocktail that makes honor to the sensuality of this music genre by combining orange juice and aged rum, reflecting the combination of cultural elements of this genre. It has 162 calories and 24.3 carbs.

Its preparation is really simple and this recipe is made for one person, so if you're going to prepare it for you and some friends, you should adapt the ingredients proportionally and then prepare this delight in each glass.
